Captain Jon's is currently developing the Special Event Menus for the upcoming 2012 season. Be sure to stay tuned to this site over the next 2 to 3 weeks to see new themes being created by Chef Tony Velasquez, and his staff. In the interim, anyone who has an interest in holding their Event at Captain Jon's can speak to any of the Special Event Coordinators regarding customized menu ideas.

Captain Jon's is now receiving requests for weddings and rehearsal dinners for 2012. If you are planning on any type of Event this year, be sure to call CJ's @ 530.546.4819 to speak with an Event Coordinator. The Coordinator will gladly help you in identifying dates and discussing menu options for you and your guests.

Captain Jon's opens it doors at 4:00 pm for Happy Hour in the Boathouse. The Boathouse is an intimate and unique venue built over the waters of Lake Tahoe featuring a full service bar, fireplace and floor to ceiling glass windows on three sides affording fabulous views to the South and is a favorite for afternoon sunset views.
Happy Hour offers deep discounts on appetizers as well as our House wines, well cocktails and draft beers. With the weather being unseasonably warm lately, many guests are strolling around on the Boathouse Dock, a 200 foot long pier with built-in seating just a step outside the Boathouse.

Captain Jon's is featuring Tuck Wilson live on Thursday nights. Tuck plays a fabulous variety of classic/folk music and takes requests from our dining audience. Tuck begins playing around 6:00 pm for those who want to enjoy some of Tahoe's finest entertainment with their dining experience.
